Let me introduce myself…My name is Krista Williams. I am the mother of 4 wonderful adult children—1 girl & 3 boys--and am blessed with 3 beautiful daughters-in-law and a handsome son-in-law. I have 11 amazing grandchildren—3 boys & 8 girls! I am loving me some girls, especially after raising a house full of boys!!!
I was born, raised, and still live in Georgia. I am married to the love of my life and my high school sweetheart, Art. In August, we celebrated our 37th Anniversary and every chance we get, we enjoy hopping on the motorcycle and riding any place possible to listen to live music.
I believe some of the best talks happen on the porch, around the table, or on a walk. I love making & sharing pound cakes, which go best with a hot cup of coffee and deep conversation. I think it is “my love language!” Oh...and I never get tired of hearing how God is working in other people’s lives.
I have been a Bible study teacher in my community for over 30 years, I am a trained Precept Leader, and have had the privilege of serving as a Teaching Leader for Bible Study Fellowship for the past eleven years. I always enjoy connecting & bonding with women over a shared desire to love and know Jesus more. I also enjoy talking with women who don't share this desire because I like to see them discover that God's Word has something in it just for them! I believe God's Word is personal and relevant to each person's life. I get a "fire in my belly” when I talk about Jesus and have the privilege of teaching His Word!
I love Jesus...and I love God’s Word! I believe I was created to help women love & live out God’s Word.
My desire is to continue to effectively minister and communicate Biblical truth to the women of every generation God places in my path. So here I am…introducing myself…learning how to blog…and sharing God’s Word on a website. "Who'd-a-thunk it??"--Not me, as a matter of fact, my flesh has been resistant but my heart's desire is to love & obey Christ! And with that said--it is by faith that I'm looking up & stepping out in this new adventure!
I know God is going to stretch me and grow me personally through this process—He already has. My prayer is that if you come along, you will grow too! I admit that I am scared to death but I am confident that He will be with us every step of the way.
So, let the journey begin!
